Community Guidelines
Topilink is a place to share, discover, and discuss the things you love. To keep it a safe, welcoming space, every member agrees to follow these guidelines. We focus on protecting people from real harm - not micro-managing every post.
Be authentic
- Complete your account setup with a username, first name, and last name before posting, messaging, following, reacting, or using other community features.
- Use your real identity, or a clearly-labeled persona. Don't impersonate other people, brands, or organizations.
- One account per person. Accounts are not for sale or transfer.
- Don't manipulate engagement through bots, fake follows, or coordinated behavior.
Be respectful
- No hate speech, harassment, or targeted attacks based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any protected characteristic.
- No threats of violence - including credible threats against individuals, groups, or public figures.
- No doxxing. Never share someone's private contact information, address, or identifying details without consent.
Keep it legal and safe
- No content promoting self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders. If you or someone you know is struggling, please contact your local emergency services.
- Absolutely no sexual content involving minors. Such content is reported to the appropriate authorities immediately.
- No content depicting or coordinating the sale of regulated goods (weapons, drugs, etc.).
- No copyrighted material you don't have rights to share.
Sensitive content
- Mark graphic violence, gore, and nudity as sensitive when posting.
- Tag spoilers clearly when posting inside relevant Topics.
Spam, manipulation, and scams
- No repetitive content, irrelevant cross-posting, or unsolicited DMs.
- No misleading links, phishing, malware, or scams.
- Disclose paid partnerships and sponsored content clearly.
Honest promotion is welcome
Unlike many legacy platforms, Topilink does not penalize you for sharing what you do. Creators, freelancers, and small businesses are encouraged to post about their work, link to their websites, and run honest promotions - as long as it's relevant to the Topic and follows the rules above.
Enforcement
Moderators may remove content, add violation points (10 = automatic suspension), restrict messaging or posting, disable accounts, or permanently delete accounts and related records in serious cases.
Reporting
Tap the ••• menu on any post, comment, or profile and choose Report. Reports are anonymous to the reported user.
Appeals
Reply to the moderator's DM and explain your reasoning. We re-review every appeal - usually within a few days.
When we take action on your account, you'll receive a direct message from a moderator explaining what happened and which guideline applied. You'll always know why.
